Legend has it that Fourcroy’s formula, known today as Mandarine Napoleon, was the key to Napoleon's charm in wooing his beloved actress, Mlle Mars.
Today, Mandarine Napoleon is produced by a prestigious Belgian company that continues Fourcroy’s legacy. The liqueur is crafted by macerating mandarin peel in select fine brandies. After maceration and distillation, the spirit is meticulously blended with flavors and sweetened to create a lightly flavored, unique product. With an alcohol content of 38%, Mandarine Napoleon serves as a classic base for a wide range of drinks and cocktails.
