Our latest select cask series release introduces a uniquely fruity and floral whisky, marking our first finish in French Calvados casks.

The Glenmorangie Calvados Cask Finish, the fifth release in our Barrel Select series of small-batch single malts, explores the flavors brought by different cask finishes. Blending jasmine with baked apples and pears, this rare 12-year-old bottling offers new mellow depths to Glenmorangie’s signature fruity tones.

Crafted under the guidance of our renowned Director of Whisky Creation, Dr. Bill Lumsden, our delicate, fruity spirit is distilled in tall stills to allow more space for taste and aroma, then aged in the world’s finest casks.

Inspired to experiment, he took a whisky that had aged over 10 years in American white oak bourbon casks, reflecting Glenmorangie’s elegant style, and transferred it into casks that had held Calvados du Pays d’Auge from Normandy, France, for 20 years.

Soft and richly delectable, Glenmorangie Calvados Cask Finish combines mellow fruits of baked apples and pears with subtle notes of jasmine, narcissus, and vanilla.
