This marks the sixth release of the Fraser Gallop Estate Cabernet Sauvignon in this style. A very attractive bouquet of red fruits, raspberry, redcurrant, cassis and cherry syrup.The lighter framed wine reminds of a Negroni with sweet orange, cherry, clove and rose water flavours backed with cranberry like taste and tannin providing a long elegant finish. A delicious wine now however will improve in a cool cellar for up to 7 years.

"Medium-full red with tints of purple, not that deep for a young cabernet colour; raspberry, crushed-leaf and mulberry aromas with a glimpse of new oak. In the mouth, it’s just medium bodied and the easy drinking texture has a waft of supple, light tannins. A light-medium weighted cabernet with early drinking potential."
