Description
A big wine, perfect for pairing with cold weather and a hearty meal—the savoury, almost-smoky nose presents bresaola and leather, as well as more typical bramble and blackcurrant, as well as a delicate, cassis-y sweetness. Palate-acid is high, and flavour continues to develop (particularly given time in the glass): black cherry, cocoa and coconut. The structure bodes well for further cellaring (if you can resist popping it now).
Drinking Window: 2019-2028
Blend: Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot
