This is a cabernet sauvignon (with a small amount of cabernet franc) offering dark berry aromas, vibrant bramble characters and a classic blackcurrant palate. From a tiny crop – barely half a kilogram per vine – this is a wine of intensity, power, and promise. Yet, as a young cabernet, its generously flavoured almost silky palate invites one to sip more. While its youthfulness is most evident with a late firmness, all is beautifully balanced; such is the trademark of this wine.
Origin: Clare Valley– very low yield due to dry seasonal conditions
Produced from 100% biodynamic estate grown cabernet sauvignon (95%) and cabernet franc (5%)
Matured exclusively in French oak barriques (45% new) for 18 months
Unfined: suitable for vegans and vegetarians
