Patrick Of Coonawarra Two Soils Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in the heart of the Coonawarra Region, known for the famous Terra Rosa soils, The two soils range is named after this soil, which is made from up to two distinct layers, a rich red clay loam over a free draining limestone base. This is ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and gives rise to its intense flavour and complex tannin structure.
This wine has been handcrafted to combine the bold blackcurrant fruits with rich flavour and earty tannins for which the region is renowned. Maturation in French oak for 24 months has added spice and vanilla flavours, combined with the smooth and soft tannin finish.
