PALATE
Lashings of dark chocolate, raisins and heather honey, followed by toasted almonds, candied ginger and gooey toffee.
FINISH
Velvety and indulgent. Dense butterscotch, dried figs and hints of glazed cherry.
FOOD MATCH
Stuffed mushrooms topped with cheese and a side of salt seasoned greens. Dried fruit compote for dessert.
Master Distiller Billy Walker spends countless hours carefully analyzing and monitoring each barrel as it slowly matures in 16 on-site warehouses. Billy Walker is known for his relentless pursuit of quality. He cut production to 20 percent of capacity while having the highest per-barrel budget in the world, and was personally responsible for everything from barrel selection to blending to bottling. This uncompromising approach saw his GlenAllachie 10-year-old Batch 4 take home World's Best Single Malt at the World Whisky Awards in 2021.
