Y Series Overview
Y Series is a collection of iconic classics and exciting new varietals. Each wine is authentically crafted with fruit from South Australia’s most celebrated wine regions.
Vintage Conditions
A very cool, wet winter and spring continued into early summer. Heavy rains abated and the grapes enjoyed a long, cool growing season, perfect for flavour development. Plentiful soil moisture allowed large canopies to flourish which enabled the grapes to attain flavour ripeness at slightly lower sugar levels than usual.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale straw in colour with green highlights.
Aroma: Aromas of fresh pear juice with white flowers and a hint of feijoa.
Palate: Crisp apple, fresh pear and jasmine with cinnamon and baked apple on the mid-palate. These generous fruit flavours are complemented by a rich, creamy, lingering finish.
Food Pairing
Enjoy with pork fillet accompanied by apple and fennel or vegetable sang choy bao.
