The 2024 L.A.S. Vino Albino Pinot-PNO is a distinctive and textural alternative white wine from Western Australia, crafted by the innovative L.A.S. Vino. Known for pushing the boundaries of contemporary Australian wine, L.A.S. Vino creates wines with minimal intervention and a strong sense of individuality, and Albino Pinot-PNO is one of the estate’s most unique expressions.
Made from Pinot Noir vinified as a white wine style, this release explores the tension between freshness, texture, and aromatic complexity. The 2024 vintage delivered fruit with excellent natural acidity and vibrant flavour definition, allowing the wine to retain energy while developing layered texture and savoury nuance.
In the winery, fruit was gently handled with a minimal-intervention philosophy to preserve purity and character. Fermentation techniques and lees work contribute mouthfeel and complexity while maintaining freshness and precision.
The wine opens with lifted aromas of white strawberry, red apple skin, pear, citrus blossom, and subtle spice. The palate is vibrant and textural, balancing crunchy acidity with layers of orchard fruit, savoury notes, and a gently phenolic finish that adds structure and intrigue.
