Fantastic volume of flavour to follow, with an almost chewy texture thanks to the density and sheer power of flavour. A backbone of crystalline acidity then drives a slightly closed finish of exceptional length.”
About This Wine
2024 Julius Riesling is made from Riesling grown on the Henschke Eden Valley Vineyard, managed with organic and biodynamic practices, as well as selected high-quality vineyards in the Eden Valley wine region. Harvest took place from 26 February to 1 March. Fermented in tank and bottled post-vintage to preserve the delicate aromatic fruit characters. Cellaring potential is noted as 30+ years from vintage (reviewed June 2024).
Henschke has been making wine in the Barossa’s Eden Valley wine region since 1868, with a family winemaking tradition spanning over 150 years and six generations.
