The 2024 Domaine William Fèvre Petit Chablis is a fresh, vibrant and impeccably pure expression of Chardonnay from one of Chablis’ most respected and historic estates. William Fèvre is renowned for crafting wines that capture the essence of the region’s unique Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone soils, and this Petit Chablis delivers the hallmark clarity, minerality and finesse that have made the domaine a benchmark for classic Chablis style.
The 2024 vintage brought favourable growing conditions across Chablis, with moderate warmth, clean fruit and excellent acid retention. These conditions allowed the grapes to ripen with exceptional aromatic lift while preserving the crystalline tension essential to Petit Chablis.
The wine opens with lifted aromas of green apple, lemon zest, white flowers and crushed oyster shell. Hints of flint, chalk dust and subtle citrus blossom add precision and freshness. On the palate, it is crisp, zesty and refreshing, offering flavours of lime, pear, grapefruit and saline minerality. The texture is finely chiselled, supported by brisk acidity that drives the wine toward a clean, bright and mouth-watering finish.
Fermented and aged predominantly in stainless steel, the 2024 Petit Chablis showcases pure fruit and terroir expression without the influence of oak.
