The 2024 Dalrymple Pinot Noir is a refined and expressive Tasmanian Pinot Noir that captures the cool-climate precision and purity for which Dalrymple is renowned. Crafted from carefully selected vineyards in Tasmania’s Pipers River region, this vintage continues the estate’s tradition of producing Pinot Noir with elegance, balance and site-driven character.
The 2024 growing season in northern Tasmania was marked by cool temperatures, extended ripening and excellent fruit quality. These conditions allowed Pinot Noir to develop lifted aromatics, fine tannin structure and vibrant natural acidity — hallmarks of Dalrymple’s distinctive style.
The bouquet opens with bright aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and cranberry, layered with hints of rose petal, subtle spice and forest floor. Delicate notes of clove, dried herbs and gentle oak add complexity without overshadowing the purity of the fruit.
On the palate, the 2024 Dalrymple Pinot Noir is medium-bodied, silky and beautifully balanced. Fresh red berry flavours flow across a finely textured frame, supported by polished tannins and a bright line of acidity that provides energy and lift. Subtle savoury nuances and light spice emerge through the mid-palate, leading to a long, elegant and refined finish.
