About This Wine
From a single old-vine parcel planted in 1959 in Rotalier, this Savagnin reflects the limestone-rich soils of the southern Jura. The wine combines floral lift, mineral definition, depth and structured energy, expressing Pierre-Vincent Girardin’s Burgundian precision in a distinctly Jura style.

Nose
Floral and mineral aromas with notable aromatic intensity, showing purity and lift rarely found outside Burgundy.

About the Winery
Pierre-Vincent Girardin is a 13th-generation Burgundian winemaker who established his own label at age 21 after working within his family’s domaine in Meursault. His approach focuses on single-site expressions, precise élevage, organic farming and minimal intervention. The Jura project extends this philosophy to the terroirs of Rotalier, producing site-specific wines such as this Savagnin from Le Châtaignier.
