The 2023 Mount Mary Pinot Noir captures the precision, perfume and complexity that have defined this estate’s reputation for over four decades. This is a wine of quiet power and fine balance, showing both purity of fruit and remarkable structure.
Tasting Notes
Aroma:
Deeply scented with earthy, spice-driven notes of black cherries, blackberry bush, blood plum, purple flowers, wet earth, cured beef, Asian spice, potpourri and dried strawberries.
Palate:
Textural and refined, with silky, polished tannins and a seamless mouthfeel. Layers of dark fruit, dried flowers, crushed blueberries, pencil shavings and forest floor unfold through the finish. Pure, savory and beautifully balanced — a wine to drink or hold.
