2023 Domaine Leflaive Macon-Verze 750ml

The vineyards are located on the commune of Verze and cover an area of 9 hectares and 33 ares, divided into 5 plots: Les Chenes, En Perret, Le Monte, Escolles and Les Muses. They are exclusively planted with Chardonnay. Since the beginning of 2004, when they were purchased, the vines have been cultivated using biodynamic methods.
The harvest is entirely manual, the pressing is done in Verzé in the buildings bought at the same time as the vines. The musts are transported every day after decanting to Puligny-Montrachet for fermentation and aging, under the watchful eye of the Domaine Leflaive technical team. Pressing: Long and soft pneumatic, 12 hours decantation then settling. Fermentation: concrete egg-shaped tank as well as an oak barrel, ageing for 12 months in fermentation containers then 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
