“Started as a very hot season, but gradually levelled out and those brave souls who held on got some mighty impressive fruit. This is so beautifully seamless and integrated with a palate that is all satin and lace yet with structure and poise. Palate is supported by chalky tannins and integrated fine-grained oak. Slightly more medium bodied than previously. Has potential.”

“This was a standout in the range. It is a dark cherry red colour, delightfully fragrant. A wine which is elegant and yet intense. There are notes of tobacco leaves, blackberries, licorice, chocolate, spices and black cherries. A wine with appealing freshness, mouthwatering acidity and bright energy. Terrific drinking here, with good focus and length, this will provide pleasure for at least the next six to eight years. Love it.”

About the Producer
Twinwoods was established in 2005 by winemaker Aldo Bratovic and Gavin Jones from Jebsen Fine Wines. The boutique property is located in the sub-region of Wilyabrup in Margaret River and is regarded as one of the rising stars of the region.
The Twinwoods Estate Vineyard is located on the south eastern catchment of Wilyabrup Creek in Cowaramup, approximately 30 kilometres north of the Margaret River township. The 25-hectare property is planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon and managed using principles of minimal chemical inputs and largely dry grown viticulture.
