The cooler vintages at Sanguine have always produced the most aromatic and elegant Progeny shiraz. The 2022 Progeny Shiraz is a classic cool climate Shiraz. Bright, deep ruby red with an abundance of berries, cherry, blackberries and blueberries. Looking all the more sophisticated with an alluring dried herb, floral and earthy overtone. You are drawn in by this complex mix of characters. The palate doesn’t disappoint as the berry fruit intertwines with the already integrated subtle tannins and distinct dried herb. Elegant but definitely not shy, this style of Shiraz will perform best with a long decanting, your favourite protein or put away to let mature. Enjoy.
