The Mulando M520 is inspired by the Five Constants — Benevolence, Righteousness, Propriety, Wisdom, and Trust — with Benevolence representing love and compassion at its heart.
In Chinese culture, “520” is a symbolic expression of love, reflecting the philosophy behind this wine.
Produced in Helan Mountain East, Ningxia, it is made through a meticulous manual process — hand-picked, bunch-selected by hand, destemmed, and then berry-selected by hand — ensuring only the finest fruit reaches the fermenters.
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels, it captures harmony, depth, and elegance.
🍷 Tasting Notes
Deep crimson color with aromas of ripe berries, cassis, and herbs intertwined with hints of sweet spice and oak.
Medium to full-bodied, smooth yet structured on the palate with fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity.
Lingering, elegant finish showing dark fruit, chocolate, and a touch of vanilla.
⚗️ Vinification
Hand-picked, bunch-selected by hand, destemmed, and berry-selected by hand.
Cold maceration for 5–7 days at 10–15°C, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation at 21–28°C.
Completed malolactic fermentation and aged 12 months in French oak barrels for structure and complexity.
