This expressive red blend from Mollydooker in McLaren Vale brings together 70% Shiraz, 15% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon—sourced from the winery’s renowned parcels across McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, and Padthaway. It captures the bold, fruit-forward style Mollydooker is celebrated for.
Winemaking and Style
Fermented in a mix of American and French oak (mostly American, with a portion new), the wine showcases the signature Marquis Fruit Weight™ for rich, velvety texture. A bold yet balanced wine with generous concentration and smooth structure.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Lush aromas of blackberry, plum, cherry, vanilla, cocoa, and spice with hints of violet, earth, and coffee
Palate: Full-bodied and smooth with layers of ripe dark fruit, mocha, licorice, and toasted oak. Fine tannins support a rich, lingering finish
Finish: Long and plush with lingering notes of chocolate-covered cherry, herbs, and spice
