About This Wine
Lowestoft Estate sits high above the Derwent River on a historic property first settled in the 1820s.
In what was once the front garden, a three-hectare, close-planted Pinot Noir vineyard, established in 1986 from Moorilla Estate cuttings, has become the beating heart of the estate. Originally supplying fruit to Tasmania's early icons, the vineyard now shines under the stewardship of winemaker Liam McElhinney, whose focus on site expression and cool-climate finesse has catapulted Lowestoft into the national spotlight.
With access to exceptional sites across Tasmania and a dream team including viticulturist John Fogarty, the range celebrates the island's diversity, producing wines of precision, beauty, and unmistakable regional character.
