The 2022 Domaine Jean Defaix Chablis 1er Cru “Les Lys” is a refined Premier Cru white Burgundy from the renowned Chablis region in northern Burgundy, France. Crafted entirely from Chardonnay, this wine expresses the classic Chablis character with purity, freshness, and distinctive mineral complexity.

On the nose, it reveals vibrant aromas of green apple, lemon zest, white flowers, and wet stone. The palate is crisp and elegant, showing layers of citrus, orchard fruit, and chalky minerality, supported by bright acidity and a long, clean finish.

Produced using traditional winemaking techniques and matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and terroir expression, this Premier Cru Chablis offers both finesse and structure. It is enjoyable now but will also develop additional complexity with a few years of cellaring.
