Irvine Eden Valley
Spanning over 400 acres, the Irvine family's vineyards, which have been family-owned and operated since 1867, are some of the oldest in the Barossa region. Their commitment to excellence has led to Gold and Double Gold awards at the world's most prestigious wine competitions.

Once recognized as Australia’s premium Merlot producer under James Irvine's establishment, Irvine Wines now proudly offer a variety of other well-loved Barossa and Eden Valley wines that exhibit truly unique regional characteristics.

Estate Merlot
The heart and soul of the Eden Valley are embodied in their meticulously nurtured single vineyard estate wines. This wine stands as a testament to their commitment to excellence.
Tasting Notes Color: It boasts a deep, dark red color. Aroma: It presents an expressive nose with scents of summer berries, cherry, black olive, and a touch of spice. Palate: It is medium-bodied, showcasing elegance and restraint, with flavours of redcurrant, earth, and creamy oak, complemented by bright acidity and fine, chalky tannin.

Maturation: It has been aged for 18 months in one and two-year-old French oak barrels.

Style: It is an accomplished example of Eden Valley Merlot, finished with layered complexity offered through integrated French oak maturation. It is approachable now with mid-term cellaring potential.

Cellaring Potential: It can be enjoyed now but will also age gracefully over the next six to eight years.
