Vineyard and Winemaking
Fruit is sourced from Domaine A’s low-yielding vineyards in northern Tasmania, where cool temperatures and long ripening periods preserve natural acidity and aromatic precision. Hand-harvested grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts, with a measured proportion of whole bunches to enhance complexity and structure. Gentle extraction and maturation in fine French oak barriques over an extended period built texture and integration without masking varietal clarity.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of red cherry, cranberry, and wild strawberry are layered with rose petal, subtle spice, and forest floor. The palate is poised and finely textured, revealing pure red fruit, savoury undertones, and fine-grained tannins.
