About This Wine
The Old Bastard Shiraz is sourced from the oldest vineyards in Kaesler’s Old Vine Trio, with Shiraz vines planted in 1893. It is described as a benchmark for premium Barossa Shiraz and one of Australia’s most collected wines.
Fruit is hand-picked and sourced from Shiraz vines planted in 1893. The wine is matured in French oak, and is noted for ageing beautifully over time, with berry notes becoming more prominent.
