Producer tasting notes: "The colour is deep red, with a brick hue typical for this age. Has an attractive, mature nose Vith cedar/spice, tobacco and licorice notes, along with fruit chutney. This is a medium ratler than heavy weight wine, typical of 2004. There is a nice soft texture to the palate with fresh acidity providing balance. Gives the sense of being restrained rather than bold. Very nice right now." - Noon Winery
The 2004 Shiraz Reserve, aged in large American oak hogsheads and foudres for 18 months, boasts great intensity, superb richness, and a glorious perfume of camphor, acacia flowers, blueberries, and blackberry liqueur. Unctuously textu rich, and dense, this brilliant Shiraz should age effortlessly for 12-15 years.
