Description
This is the standout of the latest Sunshine Creek releases. Cork-sealed and presented in a heavy bottle, it was crafted by Mario Marson. Aged in French oak for 15 months, it embraces an old-school style yet delivers quality. With a deep ruby color, it initially showcases fleshy red fruit and coffee oak. The tannins and length are impressive, with rich, savory dark fruit and layered oak on the palate. The finish is long and refined. While it may not win trophies, its depth and robust structure make it a winner, even if the oak is slightly dominant.
