Fruit is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Eden Valley, where cooler temperatures and ancient soils contribute to naturally lower yields, vibrant acidity, and finely structured tannins. The excellent 2012 vintage delivered fruit of outstanding balance and aromatic clarity, providing the foundation for a wine of elegance and longevity.
In the winery, grapes were hand-harvested and gently fermented to preserve varietal purity and finesse. Extraction was carefully managed to build structure without heaviness, and the wine was matured in French oak barrels, including a proportion of new oak, to enhance complexity and texture while maintaining balance.
