Tasting Notes
This vintage presents a beautifully golden-straw hue with a complex bouquet of white peach, citrus blossom, and toasted hazelnut, enhanced by subtle notes of vanilla, flint, and creamy nougat. On the palate, it offers a seamless balance of ripe stone fruits, vibrant acidity, and well-integrated French oak, leading to a long, elegant finish with a hint of minerality.
Winemaking
Sourced from some of the finest low-yielding Chardonnay vines in the Hunter Valley, the grapes are hand-picked and fermented in French oak barriques, with a portion undergoing malolactic fermentation to add texture and complexity. The wine is then aged on lees, enhancing its creamy mouthfeel and layered depth.
