The 2003 season in the Barossa Valley was warm and extremely dry, resulting in very low yields and exceptional fruit concentration. These conditions amplified Roennfeldt Road’s natural intensity, giving rise to a wine of extraordinary richness, tannin power and longevity.
The nose is explosive and brooding, with dense aromas of blackberry liqueur, black plum, mulberry and blueberry compote. Layers of licorice, dark chocolate, espresso, tar and warm spice add immense complexity.
