Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon is the culmination of an intensely detailed approach to our vineyards and grape selection. From our vigour and soil mapping techniques to the identification of select parcels and hand-harvesting bunch by bunch, we ensure gentle handling through every stage of production.

2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2001, 1995, 1993, 1983, 1982. Not made in 1997 and 1975.
2003 was unseasonal, having a cool wet, and windy spring leading into summer. The latter half of summer was dry and mild which, when combined with low yields led to an early harvest of excellent quality.
Blend: 88% cabernet sauvignon, 9% merlot, 2% cabernet franc, 1% petit verdot.
