The 2000 De Bortoli Noble One Botrytis Semillon 375ml is a half-bottle format of Australia’s iconic dessert wine, crafted from hand-selected late-harvest Semillon grapes grown in the Riverina region. Carefully affected by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), this vintage captures the hallmark richness, balance, and longevity of the Noble One series.
Golden in colour, the wine opens with vibrant aromas of dried apricot, orange marmalade, honeycomb, and hints of almond and vanilla. The palate is concentrated and silky, offering flavours of candied citrus, toffee, stone fruit, and spice, supported by bright acidity that keeps the sweetness in check.
Now with over two decades of age, the 2000 vintage has developed complex tertiary notes and a lingering, elegant finish. A true collector’s bottle with exceptional cellaring pedigree.
