Jim Barry

Jim Barry’s wine business is led by Peter Barry; the 3rd generation represented by Peter and Sue Barry’s children, Tom, Sam and Olivia. Tom’s wife is also called Olivia, and she (Olivia Hoffmann) has set a whirlwind pace, graduating with a bachelor of commerce from the University of Adelaide, then a master of wine business. Peter purchased the famed Florita Vineyard with his brothers in ‘86 (one of the oldest vineyards in the Clare Valley, planted in '62. The 2nd generation also purchased Clos Clare in ‘08 with its high-quality vineyards (see separate entry). -JAMES HALLIDAY
